Interview with The Blogger : Vagisha Mishra

Q1.What inspired you to Start a Pageant Blog. Particularly “pageant” because it’s a rare topic to choose.

Vagisha : My penchant for pageant was never because it has some glamour quotient or is merely related to women fashion, but because it is a vicinity of sports which is not given as much preference in our nation as it should be! The country which holds five Miss World crowns, two Miss Universe crowns, one Miss Earth crown and one Miss Supranational crown, still weighs very petite attention in Indian masses. My blog is just a platform to reach out to more people in India as well as in world, and to showcase them the technicalities of beauty pageants, indicating that it is too a glorious kind of sports which must be given due concentration as it takes a lot to represent your country at a global level. I wish to highlight that the beauty queens are spokespersons of their nations.

Q2.Is blogging your primary Proffession? Or a hobby?

Vagisha: When I initially instigated my blog, it was merely a platform to voice out my opinions. But at this instant, Pageant Blogging for me is not merely limited to a hobby but is much more than that. I am spending more than 12 hours in a day for the blog, planning about the articles and scrutinizing the details of pageants. I have a lot of plans in my mind for future, and if destiny and time assist me, I would love to publish a book on beauty pageant someday!

Q3.Do you ever Look Forward to win A Pageant?

Vagisha: Oh that would have been a dream come true! Haha! If destiny opens the door for pageants, then yes, why not! But as of now, I have no plans for it, since I am prioritizing majorly to establish my career currently. I am seeking a good job at first place, to have a secured career.

Q4.What blogging tricks do you use to enhance your viewers?

Vagisha : There are no blogging tricks as such, when you pour in your heart sincerely people are bound to listen it! That’s my mantra of running the blog! I am honest in my reviews and articles, and wish to encourage the girls who have got the potential to shine internationally. Moreover, I make sure I have done extensive research before I come up with an article. I maintain a pageant diary, where I record every detail of the pageants I am keeping an eye on.

Q5.You have interviewed a lot of beauty queens ,how do you feel giving one?

Vagisha:It was really an immense pleasure to have an interview with you, Sanjana! The interviews I have taken till now were the means of knowing the beauty queens deeper and better, to have a better idea of the beauty queens as a person and also as a spokeswoman of a particular nation. But this interview is special for me because I have got a podium to voice out my ideas before the audience. This platform has enabled me to extend my intentions and ideas before the pageant spectators! And for this, I thank you!

Q6While researching about pageants , Can you tell what are basic qualities a girl should have to win.?

Vagisha:For me the basic quality to win any pageant is passion! If a girl is passionate enough to win a pageant and is badly craving for the coveted crown on her head, she will fight against all odds to make herself shine. She will learn all the lessons ardently and will make sure she has left no stones unturned. Such girls are one in a million, and only such women conquer the international crown.
